The Fairfax County Public Schools Education Foundation was created in May of 1983 as a way to combat students’ declining achievement in local schools and lack of preparedness to enter the burgeoning technology workforce. Today, the Foundation has one goal—to ensure that the students of Fairfax County are the most technologically-literate in the country.
