Thomas Jefferson High School
The campus was established in 1984 as a laboratory school to develop and implement an alternative curriculum and new teaching methods for K-12 school systems nationwide. The Foundation played an instrumental role in the high school’s curriculum and facilities development. In fact, it was directly responsible for the design and funding of the library and eleven of the school’s high-tech laboratories.

Today, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is recognized as the nation’s highest academically rated high school.
